Subnautica 2 Alien Sites: Landmarks and Evidence
Officially mentioned landmarks and how to separate a named structure from a verified access route or story theory.
The Observatory, Rosetta Stone and World Tree are names present in official update context. Their appearance in a patch list is evidence for that reference, not proof of a route, a region hierarchy or a locked/unlocked status.
What the official note mentions
The August 19 Buddy System update added connecting light poles between the Observatory and Rosetta Stone, addressed a missing-collision route near the Observatory, and corrected World Tree flickering at High shadow quality. The July 8 Adaptive Measures note also mentions a buildable World Tree Relic decoration.
A decoration and the object it depicts are different things. Neither note establishes when or how a Titan-class organism in Xanadu can be reached.
Following story evidence
Our suggested method is to preserve the exact Databank title and separate the text you have read from a theory about what it means. For a route guide, require a continuous sequence from a known point, its date and the build. For a story theory, look for the specific log or dialogue it interprets.
The old directions through Overgrown Ruins and the assertion that this was the only accessible alien-architecture route were not verified here. The labels “Great Trench” and “Alien Crypt” also lack a traceable original source in our record. They are not published as destinations.
If your immediate problem is a signal name or current in the ruins, use Overgrown Ruins troubleshooting. That answers a concrete visit problem using the October hotfix rather than extrapolating lore from an image.
