The Steam listing currently gives these requirements:

| CPU | Intel i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 2600 | Intel i7-13700 / Ryzen 7 7700X |

| Storage | 50 GB available | 50 GB available |
DirectX 12 and broadband internet are listed. These are storefront requirements, not a benchmark or a guaranteed frame rate. Leave additional room for updates and compare the current store page if requirements change.
Main build or Experimental?
The Experimental branch announcement describes an optional preview with separate saves that cannot be exchanged with the main branch. Our recommendation is to choose the main branch for a shared ongoing playthrough unless the group deliberately wants to test upcoming work.
For Steam opt-in, the official support instructions are Library → game Properties → Game Versions & Betas → Experimental. See Steam instructions or Xbox instructions for the current platform flow.
Is there a 1.0 date or console-port date?
The Steam FAQ estimates 2–3 years in Early Access and warns that timing is hard to predict. We do not turn that into a promised release year. See duration and PS5, PS4 and Switch status for the separate questions.
For your first session use the beginner checklist. For what has shipped since launch use patch notes.
