Subnautica 2 Official Videos: Choose by Update
Developer video posts with dates and viewing purposes. Launch footage and future previews should not be mistaken for current map measurements.
October 15 — Voyage to Early Access 2
Open the official developer post and video. Start here if you want the newest reviewed presentation about upcoming work. It introduces a dev-vlog series and sneak peeks, rather than announcing a release day. Use roadmap status to separate the preview from the playable build.
August 18 — Buddy System update vlog
Open the official Buddy System video post. This presentation introduces proximity voice, trading, revives and Tracking Tags ahead of the August 19 update. For the actual shipped detail, compare the release notes.
July 7 — Adaptive Measures update vlog
Open the official Adaptive Measures video post. This explains the July 8 update. It is historical context for its quality-of-life changes, not evidence that July is still the latest version.
May 9 — Early Access gameplay trailer
Open the developer’s gameplay-trailer post. Use it for a short look at the game’s launch presentation. A trailer does not establish current resource quantities or coordinates. The trailer evidence guide explains that distinction.
Choosing a walkthrough
Our recommendation is to check the creator, upload date, branch and the action shown before following a route. An official upload establishes provenance; a continuous gameplay recording can support an observed action. Neither automatically supplies an exhaustive map.
This index uses links to the developer posts instead of unverified embed IDs. Community reviews and search trends are no longer labeled as verified gameplay evidence. For the limits of old May reports, see the launch-week source note.
