Subnautica 2 resource and position map
Filter 1759 object positions from an open community extraction: 1675 resource deposits, 56 supply crates and lockers, and 28 story signals and culture objects. Narrow by depth and see each point's straight-line distance from the lifepod. This is a point map, with no terrain or safe-route layer. The data snapshot was checked October 19, 2026; it is not verified one by one against the current game build.

Where these points come from
The source is Joric's Subnautica 2 map, commit 0ed5908, published with an Unlicense software license and game-capture tooling. From its markers.json we use named narrative signals, Axum culture objects, every BP_ResourceDeposit_* record and every supply crate and supply locker record. Loose pickups and small resource nodes are not included. No position comes from a decorative illustration or an earlier game.
The source viewer labels a terrain layer as build 113109, May 14, 2026, but uses a shared marker file for its configured versions. The marker file does not supply a build per object. We therefore call this a fixed community data snapshot, not a verified launch-build or current-build survey.

Resource deposits and supply containers
Deposit names are the source class names split into words, such as Silver, Gold or Lithium. Supply crates and lockers show the item class from each record's contents field, for example Food, Basic Battery or Flares. A record does not prove the container is still unlooted in your save. For wrecks, the August 19 update added Carryable Racks to early wrecks and human-made sites and fixed the Cicada Wreck / Stairway to Heaven Databank entry not unlocking on entry. The per-resource depth summary is on resources.
How to use a result
Select a point to see its depth, its straight-line distance and bearing from the lifepod, its source object class and X/Y/Z. Compare that name with a signal or observation in your save. A source object can exist without being reachable, spawned or unlocked in a particular session. Do not turn the straight-line relationship between points into a cave route.
For build changes affecting a visit, use patch notes, especially the revised Collector navigation, signal fixes and scanner accuracy changes. For a culture acquisition demonstration, see the dated Axum report.
Signal and culture object coordinates
The source keeps X/Y/Z in raw game-data units. Its viewer divides horizontal distance by 100 when reporting metres and uses negative Z for underwater positions. The table rounds the raw values; the JSON downloads keep the source precision. Original point file · Original coordinate/distance implementation

What a reproducible location report needs
- Platform, branch, build and observation date.
- The original screenshot or continuous video, including the source of any coordinate reading and its axis convention.
- Whether the point was visible, reached, scanned or collected; those are different observations.
- The objective, equipment and any host/client or mod conditions affecting the result.
A copied row from this table is not a new independent observation. A named object position does not establish a safe route.
Are these positions verified in the current build?
No. This plot uses named object positions from Joric's public extraction at a fixed repository commit. The data is community-derived and has no per-record build verification.
Where do the resource deposits and supply crates come from?
They are every large resource deposit record (1675) and every supply crate or supply locker record (56) in the same source file. Supply contents come from each record's own spawns field. No position was added by hand, and the records have not been checked one by one against the current game build.
Does a plotted point mean I can reach it safely today?
No. Object data does not establish terrain access, quest conditions, patrols or current-build state. The plot contains no route lines or safe-depth recommendations.
